“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.” Words to live by from Emerson. His deep observation and intense love of nature epitomize a native wanderer, and are preserved in his essays bearing the name which continue to inspire- ‘Nature’.
This lip balm is meant to emulate Emerson’s advice: living in the sunshine. Spearmint freshens your breath while stimulating your senses. A touch of eucalyptus adds antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral effects. Due to the antioxidant attributes of blood orange, it slows the rate of skin damage experienced from UV exposure. So go ahead and kiss the sun while you capture the wild!
We would like to assert that in our humble opinion, our Native Wanderings lip balms are the bomb! Each one is hand made with intention, and respect for our planet. It is our hope that they would make the wanderers that inspired them proud.
Each balm is 0.3oz, twice the amount of normal lip balm! They come in 100% biodegradable and renewable containers. Due to the eco-friendly nature of the packaging, the containers push up from the bottom. They are filled to the bottom of the double sided rim to prevent oil stains, but this does not change the fill weight.
Every balm contains:
Cacao Butter: Contains high amounts of fatty acids to help hydrate the lips and create a protective barrier that holds moisture in, and prevents them from drying.
Vitamin E Oil: Can be used to relieve chapped or dry lips. Promotes cell turnover and regeneration, making your lips softer.
Shea Butter: A rich source of fatty acids, antioxidants, with anti-aging qualities that keep lips plump and smooth. Anti-inflammatory attributes help heal and prevent chapped lips.
Jojoba oil: Carries essential vitamins like B and E, and minerals beneficial for soft lips such as zinc and copper. It’s chemically similar to the skin’s natural oil, so it restores the moisture to your lips that the sun, cold, and wind can remove.
Coconut oil: Holds lauric acid that nourishes and moisturizes. Provides a protective barrier to protect the lips, and block bacteria and irritants from causing damage. Restorative attributes help to heal dry, chapped lips.
Beeswax: Composed of natural emulsifiers that help to retain moisture. Along with its antibacterial elements, beeswax can also help protect your lips from harmful UV rays.
